Wedding nanny? Worried!!
So my little girl will not be attending nursery and we will be getting married when she is 2.5.
I’ve been looking into booking a wedding nanny but I’m so unsure about it as she won’t know this person.
I’ve already said they will not be putting her to bed or staying overnight as I’m not comfortable with that , but thinking they could be helpful as a helping hand on the day.
Has anyone else hired a wedding nanny and has any advice please?

you could ask a family member? then your girl won’t be with a stranger, someone they know & are comfortable with x
We had a nanny for our wedding day. Beforehand we had them meet and she did a couple of shorter stints at babysitting first to get to know each other. Best thing I ever did and I’d do it again. Meant our little one was well looked after and all our family and friends could enjoy the day too and we didn’t have to worry about “oh who’s watching him now”. We knew the nanny was always there.

We looked into one, but ended up only booking her for “babysitting” while he slept at the venue accommodation, we then took over when we came to bed that night. But when you book we had the option to meet her before hand and have settle sessions, so our son would have gotten used to her and not be a complete stranger! He was asleep when she got there so we didn’t do this, but it was nice that they offered it 😁
