I had a vbac 14months after an emergency c section. Feel free to dm me 💕
My babies are 14 months apart and going in to get induced later on today so will keep u updated
I had a c section back in January and I’m due for December, still haven’t discussed how I will be delivering with the doctor but I definitely want to have a vbac x
There definitely is risk to vbac especially so close to your last section. You can try for one if you want but the Drs will typically schedule you for induction/section at 39w so you aren't stretching your scar too much. The other thing to note is you can't get pitocin during induction or natural labor because it will put even more pressure on your uterus. So best bet is you start labor on your own and progress well. My first section (emergent) was November 2021. I'm scheduled for my repeat section for this November. I could try for vbac if I want but I prefer the idea of a planned, relaxed experience. Plus I know how to heal from a section.
Hey! I'm in a similar situation, had an emergency section in June 2022. Message me if you want to chat, I'm also really torn about what to do 🥺 I keep changing my mind. I'm scared about trying for a VBAC if it just ends up unsuccessful and in an emergency section again. But it could be successful... so tricky!
I want a VBAC
i had a vbac 13month gap and my scar ruptured resulting in surgery 🙃
@Keeli how did u no ur scar was rupturing?
as soon as i delivered my daughter i was in pain, i got fobbed of by nurses then i was in the bed couldnt move to sit up or when i managed to get up i couldn't walk standing straight this went on for nearly 24hrs they scanned me and said it ruptured and i was bleeding internally
Omg did u not no in Labour have any signs
I had 2 and 2 So my first was a c section (traumatic and it left me in a bad way) and then my 2 boys were vbacs VERY VERY good outcomes both times and then my last was a c section .. I will say uterine rupture doesn’t happen to everyone but it’s a risk they let you know about even though it’s like a low percentage . I would find a doctor that supports you and your decision with best interest at heart honestly . It’s not scary it’s actually really empowering 🥰
They normally advise people to wait 18 month to 24 month after C section to attempt Vbac. Not easy ask them the possibility of Vbac
