My LG started when she was about 8lb. I make sure to do bath, baby massage, bottle then bed. I spray her bed with child farms bedtime spray & put on the white noise. She sleeps from 7.30pm till 8am only waking us up for her dummy once or twice in the night. I feel your pain but before she started to sleep she was up every 5 hours & I was knackered. We started to realise she wasn't hungry when she was waking up (only taking 1 or 2 oz during the night) so I started giving her the dummy back and she would go back to sleep. Trying to teach her how to put the dummy back in herself now 🤣. Try and stick to a bedtime routine & they will start to understand its sleep time 😊 x
Our little one was basically 3 months adjusted age when he started sleeping through the night and not waking for feedings. We started a bedtime routine at 4 weeks so that he would know it was time for long sleep. We tried the ladder of interventions before feeding - it means offer every comfort first (patting shushing noise machine pick up) feeding as a last resort. It helps stretch out the time between feeds until they realize they aren’t hungry and can go back to sleep.
My son is 7 months 18 lb and still wakes up to eat once or twice a night
Idk if you still have this problem but my baby was 4mo (13lb) when he finally slept through the night (8hrs). It wasn’t until I followed the Possum method that he finally slept well independently in his crib as well as slept through the night without tears or much of a hassle to put him down.
@Yara she has finally started sleeping 8:30 to about 5:45!!!!! It’s been amazing. I think it’s when she finally hit 12 pounds!
Congrats 🙌🏼 @Laura Silva The relief of undisturbed sleep is amazing 🤌
Give her a bath half n hour before the bed time, that's what I made my boy trained regarding relaxing sleep... Try to make an environment like dark room with no voice ... ? (If you not already do)
