At what age do you change the pram from a carry cot to the seat part?

I found this video really useful https://youtu.be/eA6-_CKAQNQ?si=LxVkbKQ7y23yoqsB

My little boy is 9 weeks and is in the seat part. The doctor recommended it for me though as my little boy is bigger and taller than the typical 9 week old. My pram I can lay the seat part back too, so he's technically still laying down a bit, and you can add the head part from the car seat in my pram... not sure if they're all the same x

I think it depends on your bassinet and baby size. We had ours in the bassinet till 6 months but it’s a bigger than average bassinet. Once she was sitting up it was just easier in the seat part so she could look around as she wasn’t keen on laying down and missing out on anything.

My little boy went over to the seat unit yesterday at 5.5 months, my daughter was around the same time. Both like the bassinet so wanted to get all the use out of it but I know others who have changed over a lot earlier.

Around 2 months my baby couldn't stand laying down so I moved he rto the chair and she loved it

Thanks. She is just turned 3 months. She still has lots of room but yeah she doesn't really like lying down
