Spitting up getting worse

Over the past few days, my baby seems to be spitting up more (she’s 8 weeks). It seems to be particularly bad at night, and last night she properly projectile vomited over my partner when he was holding her upright after her feed. She’s breast fed and I haven’t changed my diet, so not sure it’s an intolerance or anything like that. Checked her temperature afterwards and it was normal too. I’m wondering if it’s just a bit of a phase that she’s going through. Has anyone else noticed similar around the 8 week mark? I have her 8 week check up this week, so will check with the GP as well.

My baby does this too so I'd like to know what your GP says pleasee! x

We’re formula feeding but our LB is 7 and a half weeks and has just started with reflux and throwing up everywhere when he never did before. We’ve been given infant gaviscon but he’s still sick just not as much!

Projectile vomit could be a sign of pyloric stenosis , i’d speak to your GP asap if LO is still doing this x

Thanks all - spoke to the GP about it today. She actually spit up while on the examination table - and it looked like quite a lot. But GP wasn’t overly concerned, which sort of put me at ease as well. He prescribed infant gaviscon, so will see how we get on with that. I have noticed that it seems to be on the days she gets baths that her spitting up is at it’s worst. So I’m wondering if the bath relaxes her stomach muscles or something!
