Gaviscon and constipated!
Did gaviscon make anyone else’s little ones constipated?

Yes, to the point we were prescribed lactulose. How many sachets is your little one having per feed? We were told to give 2 per feed and he was in extreme pain and when he did pass something it was rock hard and he'd made himself bleed. We reduced the amount and gave him one sachet per feed and he was able to poo again albeit to start with they were small lumps x
I've ignored the suggested amount and give my LB one sachet once a day and that's been enough so far to reduce the amount he spits up and stop him being constipated - even the one sachet changes his poo so much!
Yes. My LO is on Gaviscon and I have prescribed Lactulose as required
