I googled this earlier because I made a bottle with the rapid cool and it was still on 4oz but when I do it with the prep machine it goes up to 5oz. Still don’t understand it. It’s not just mam bottles btw, it did the same with my old tommee tippee ones
You go buy the water amount you add to the bottle - not the adjusted amount once formula powder is added :)
@Incognito. I wondered this too but now I just ignore the first oz on the bottle. So if I made a 6oz (looks like 7oz once made) bottle and there was 2oz left then I'd say she had 4oz xx

It might be worth trying it without formula to see how much water goes in. I did it as a test and it took it above the oz line to the line above. Not sure why. Maybe check and see.
Does the same with Tommie tippee bottles c
It's just the water being displaced by the formula. If you ran it without adding the formula it would go to the correct line. It's the same if you make bottles with the kettle too xx
