Stopping cyclogest ivf mummas

Has anyone fallen pregnant through medicated frozen transfer and been on cyclogest? I was told by my clinic to stop at 10 weeks but I was on a high dose so stopped at 11 weeks, I’ve not taken any since Sunday and I cant stop thinking about whether I should have taken them for another week till I was 12 weeks. I know the clinic knows what they are doing so I need to trust them. I’ve also noticed more cramping since stopping then which I assume is just everything growing. We did have a private scan last Saturday and everything was fine and I was right on time 10+6 but they said my placenta hadn’t taken over yet so makes me think I should carry on with cyclogest but I stopped 3 days ago

Stopped at exactly 11 weeks ..

I was on cylogest following a FET. They told me usually ok to stop 10 weeks but I had had spotting at 5 weeks so told to continue up to 12 weeks just to be safe. I have my 12 weeks scan today (at 12+5) praying for good news 🙏🏼💕🤞🏼 im a nervous wreck since stopping all the medication

I’m being told to stop between 10-11 weeks. My friend who just gave birth to her ivf baby also stopped at that time period.

So.... I was receiving ivf and the plan was to go on cyclogest. I ended up falling pregnant myself in between fairled round 1 and round 2 (total miracle tbh) but I pressed to go on progesterone My gp and midwife weren't really clued up on it but eventually got it prescribed withnthe help of the ivf nurses. But I've just turned 12 weeks today and am still on it. They told me to take up till 12 weeks. I'm going to call today and ask about how to stop as I don't know of its just an overnight thing. I am also nervous about coming off it so understand yiur nerves. Are you going in baby aspirin at all? Itnwas discussed for me following 12 weeks of progesterone. I'm hoping to get some clarity today. Xx

I’m on 3 cyclogest and 2 lubion daily, originally I was told to stop these all at 9 weeks but because of my history with recurrent miscarriage and bleeding in my current pregnancy I’m staying on until at least 16 weeks. In previous transfers I’ve been told to stop as early as 7 weeks by my clinic! Most people I’ve spoken to have stopped somewhere between 9 and 12 xx

I'm pregnant from a frozen transfer and have been told to take progesterone until 12 weeks. However, as I understand it the research says it makes little difference after 8 weeks and every clinic is different. If it makes you feel better there is absolutely no harm in going back on it until 12 weeks. Good luck x

The cramping might not be related - I’m 11w and stopped progesterone after my 8w scan but in the past few days have been getting cramp type feelings (almost like a stitch) and have read others on here having similar feelings around that stage.
