Second baby taking longer

I’m a little concerned why it’s taking longer to get pregnant for a second compared to how quick it was for my first. I recently got a transvaginal ultrasound for a separate situation and the doc whom delivered my daughter and is really good said cervix, fallopian tubes, ovaries, follicles everything looks super healthy. It just feels like this is taking longer and quite honestly it’s making me nervous. Anyone else? Any info on this? I don’t believe I’m a candidate for infertility right now as I ovulate and periods pretty regular. Doc said I bounced back so fast after 13 months of BF and not having my period since before pregnancy. We want another baby so badly. I’m legit manifesting it but I’m having a hard time too. Any experiences or advice would be great. I’m telling myself I’m pregnant, I’m pushing away any doubt, I’m accepting gods plan, and I’m doing my best not to google and symptom spot this time nor will I test until I’m late. My love cup is overflowing and we are so ready to love another baby. It’s just hard right now.

Hello just thought I'd jump on here and say that my daughter who is 2 took one try to concieve but our 2nd took us til cycle 7 ttc. Just before we found out I was pregnant we had my fiancé's sperm tested and it wasn't great results! Doctor said it could of been a bad batch as we ended up conceiving anyways but depending on how long you have been trying for its not always the women with fertility issues ❤️ I'm nearly 18 weeks now and my heart goes out to you, it was a really hard and lonely time ttc. Sending so much baby dust your way and hope you get pregnant soon with your 2nd❤️❤️

@Jasmine this is so warming to hear it’s not just me!! I for sure know it’s not just me but we keep being told “wait until a year” and like no, I want to get tests done sooner. Any advice? I’m super curious about my husbands but we have done so much to take care of ourselves for TTC and this last cycle was the best yet but I’m in the TWW and feel like my symptoms feel like PMS so I’m just feeling ugh. My daughter was a quick time frame so I just feel nervous but maybe it’s normal having a toddler at home makes it hard and even more “scheduled” than I’d like. It means a lot to read your response. Thank you 💜

@Christie thank you. That’s very good advice on manifestation. I actually had my thyroid checked last month and all was normal. My leauteal phase is roughly 15 days. My cycle stretched longer after my daughter averaging about 32-35 days with my follicular phase fluctuating a bit. Typically 16-18 days. We’ve been TTC for about 5 months but it’s taken us a bit to get down the timing around ovulation. We must have forgotten lol we use tests now and have been using the last two cycles. I’m trying to accept what is and trust that this is all a plan and timing is intentional for other blessings that are to come. But some days I’m not so strong so this week have tried to embrace that it will happen when it’s supposed to

We were able to get my fiance tested at 6 months, the doctor said that's long enough for a worry that their could potentially be something wrong (not trying to scare you in any way!) He was going to do testing on me next but I had very regular cycles so I wasn't to concerned about myself. I'm from the UK so if you are in the UK I'm sure you could raise your concerns with your GP and see what they suggest. I will say the cycle we conceived I stopped tracking with ovulation strips, stopped thinking about it constantly and let go. My fiance and I agreed to try 'not trying' for a few cycles before going down any fertility treatments. I know its so annoying when people say just stop trying and it will happen but that's what truly worked for us, I have an obsessive personality so was becoming obsessed with testing etc, even waited til I was two days late on my period to test if i was pregnant whereas before I was testing at like 8 DPO. Feel free to message me if you'd like some support❤️
