TTC for 14 months

Hi all! I have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. We discovered I was not ovulating for multiple cycles after two miscarriages. I recently took l letrozole to help encourage ovulation. My question is how the heck do I read the ovulation strips? It's cycle day 12 and I have been reading daily. I know they have been negative, but when three second line becomes darker when can I say it's positive? Can it be positive more than one day? That doesn't make sense to me. I'm just confused. We have been trying regularly and trying to keep it fun so I'm not worried about missing the time frame...I just want to be able to give my doctor accurate information so we know if the dose needs to be increased for my next cycle if conception doesn't occur. The second line is still faint so I'm sure that's negative. How often should I test? Twice a day? When should it be positive? Help!

Average is cd14 but all you can do it keep testing x

I highly suggest investing in a quantitative test system like Mira. It tells you the amount of LH so you can see your spike. The wants are costly but if you’ve been TTC it can give you a better understanding of your hormones

Oh wow, yours are definitely more clear. The tests I got were suggested to me by my ob. I have used premom pregnancy test strips in the past. I will give that a go. Thanks, Charley. I will look into Mira. I have had all the tests, so I know my hormones are out of wack. Thanks, Natalie.

The first line needs to be as dark or darker than the second line in order to be positive

@Christie yeah I know. That’s why I said “ average” . The NHS still subscribes to the “28 day cycle” though.
