Travel system recommendations

Any recommendations for travel system that isn’t going to cost a fortune? Yesterday we went to smyths toys and really liked the Panorama XT by Babylo 2-in-1 Travel System it’s affordable around £260 and easy to use. The guy in store did say the car seat isn’t the best and we do want a 360 car seat but you have to have a normal car seat to be able to leave the hospital so he did suggest with the price of this travel system your saving enough money to be able to by the 360 car seat anyway. Our parents have also said they would buy us the car seat we want. Anyone have any experience with this travel system or recommended any other decent price alternatives. Thank you 😊

It looks like it’s a fixed seat that is only in a seated position meaning it can’t be used under 6 months. Plus I would always recommend laying your little one flat when they are sleeping this don’t allow that. Also from experience I would not recommend a 2 part system. They are time consuming to put together when our and about and take up a lot of space. You can get travel systems that fold as one unit with the seat attachment. Maybe think about buying second hand and paying for professional cleaning my friend did this a got a bugaboo that was a year old with all the bits for what you are thinking of spending. It would have been near £2000 pounds new. As far as car seats go for a big brand like maxi cosi or cybex as all the pram manufacturers make the travel systems compatible with these with adapters. They are brand leaders for a reason and one base will fit you baby and toddler car seat if you do you research. We went for a pebble 360 and pearl 360 from maxi cosi.

You do not have to have any kind of car seat to leave the hospital! Some people don’t have cars at all! Just explain to them that you have a seat in the car.

Thank you, honestly I feel so clueless with this being our first. I have been trying to do so much research but feel like there’s so much info out there it’s not sinking in and I feel a bit lost with it all and I’m nearly 30 weeks so starting to panic I have no idea where to start

@Sophie go to a proper independent pram/baby shop and literally try all the prams out. It’s the only way to figure out what really works for you. A lot depends on your lifestyle. If you like getting out and about and doing lots of outdoor stuff you can’t beat a mountain buggy urban jungle or a nipper 360. Bugaboo are very popular for many reasons and a good all rounder or mamma and pappas to great prams the flip and the occaro. Choose the pram you want then buy second hand or online https://www.pramworld.co.uk is a great website and always seem to have the cheapest prices. Plus most things are 48 hour delivery x

Look on ebay for second hand ones i got an occaro hardly ised for full system for £150

Just so your aware most babies don’t get a good fit in a 360 sets until there 4-6 months Check out car seat safety uk on Facebook for some good car seat advice :)

I’ve seen loads on Facebook marketplace second hand that are in really good condition!!
