I really recommend the Tula free to grow :)
Different ones suits different people. Do you have a sling library near you? I'd recommend going to one as you can try all different kinds out and they'll fit you properly with them. I wish I'd done that before I bought mine!
I have a mamarugu one. Little more expensive than others on the market but I love it. A good combo of soft and structured and adjustable so you can wear front back and side from newborn up to about 2.5 years depending on weight.
https://hipdysplasia.org/hip-healthy-products/ These have all been shown to pass healthy hip as long as used properly. Be weary of the cheap ones off Amazon as they aren't all made with the same safety standards.
We have a baby bjorn mini which is suitable up to around 12 months. We love it! I’d recommend visiting a sling library though then you can try a few and see what suits x
Depending on how old baby is for young ones the stretchy wraps are great. We then moved on to a beco Gemini after trying it at a sling library. Maybe see if there is one close to you so you can try a few first. Also look at the carrying matters website they have some good videos on how to wear a stretchy wraps safely
I have a koala one and it's absolutely brilliant because it has a back support and it's really easy to put on unlike some of them x https://www.amazon.co.uk/Koala-Babycare-Cuddle-Band-Anthracite/dp/B07G85PQ5J/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?adgrpid=108065209180&hvadid=578556341441&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=1006818&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=17141118941403605903&hvtargid=kwd-843767824765&hydadcr=17352_2155012&keywords=koala+sling&qid=1700394385&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1
NCT tend to do a sling library where you can rent one and see who’s you get on with it before spending money on them. They also do a nearly new sale where people sell things - we picked up a BabyBjorn sling for £10. It’s faded but works just fine. Recommend keeping an eye out for these near you. You don’t have to be a member to do either x
@Chrissy this^ M Position is recommended and make sure they have been approved under hip dysplasia standards for infants
Wildbird brand has been my favorite one I’ve tried
I love my ergobaby one! I prefer one with buckle vs wraps that you just tie or tuck. My brain won't stop thinking they'll come undone and baby will fall to the floor 😅
