Good dietary advice !

My weight has been so bad for around 5 years now and since my pregnancy and after having had my son it’s very hard for me lose weight and keep the weight off especially with my PCOS. When I had my son and was breastfeeding I found that I had lost of weight by the second week but the minute my milk dried up and I stopped breastfeeding I had gained the weight back. Anyone have good dietary advice or a good diet plan that can help with the PCOS and weight loss.

Honestly I think it's common to gain weight when you stop breastfeeding. And I mean for anyone even women without pcos. But I've heard that the best diet is low carb. I've tried it myself and I did lose some weight. But the main things that helped me is eat in a way that'll support my blood sugars. I'd eat veggies, protien, and fats before any carbohydrates and my carbs were mostly complex carbs. And if the meal was heavy I'd walk for like 10 sometimes 30 minutes after the meal to keep my blood sugar stable. Also if I wanted cookies, cakes, tea, I'd make them myself and from scratch cause store bought (even the Betty Crocker cake box) will have a lot of extra ingredients that aren't so great for your health. Before I even went low carb I started by making my food from scratch and I started losing weight just with that at first. It might have to do with the fact that there are a lot of hidden sugars in any regular foods you buy (ketchup, bologna, salad dressing, bread).

I also wanted to add that you'll know it's working if your waist starts to trim down. But it does take time. I was doing this for a month until I started seeing a difference and a few months until my husband noticed a diffetence. But its so worth it. I hope you can give these things a try. 🙏😊
