Baby stopped babbling as much while teething…
Is it normal for babies to babble less when teething? My boy has been babbling less the last few days and always has something in his mouth with bright red cheeks etc… wondered if the 2 are related?

Yeah I've noticed this too. He's teething but seems to be babbling a lot less than last month in general. Maybe focusing more on trying to crawl/sit up?
@Helen that’s a good point my boy has mastered sitting up unaided the last day or so… that might make sense too x
It could be but could also be developing in other areas. My LO hasn’t babbled as much in a week or so and has since started blowing raspberries constantly so she’s focused on that 😂
