Please don’t buy a home Doppler. You won’t know if it’s your heartbeat or theirs. Plus it can’t tell you if baby is okay or not.
@Helen their heartbeat is twice the speed, usually 140 - 155, whereas mine is usually 80-something. But, it's a totally valid point. It can be confusing if you're not sure what you're looking for. I find it validating to hear that heartbeat due to a missed miscarriage when all the symptoms were still there, but not that precious heartbeat. Totally see your point, though. There are usually always two sides to every coin 😁
I've had 2 little bleeds this pregnancy so far, started with a little fresh red blood before turning brown, I've gone into the EPAU with both bleeds to have a check and scan, so far no issues found at all and baby is fine. If in doubt, get checked out!
Hope your scan goes okay today!!🫶🏼
@𝗄𝖾𝗅𝗌𝖾𝗒 thank you so much! The scan was all good thankfully🙌🏼🤍
Have you thought about purchasing a home doppler?? This is my 11th pregnancy (really hoping this is the one that makes it!) So naturally, anxiety is running high. Every Sunday, to help reassure both me and my husband, we use our home doppler to listen to the baby's heartbeat, reassure us that they're still going strong. It's made a world of difference for our peace of mind. Maybe it will for you too while you wait for your scan? You can find them on eBay for £13.
