My 10 year old has doubts but still believes in Santa.

What happened?

My 10 almost 11 year old still believes

My 9 year old daughter still believes ❤️

I have an 11 year old nephew that still believes in Santa and the tooth fairy. Definitely gonna try to keep the magic alive for my sons as long as possible💕

Hey! I'm in Iowa too! Lol But my 10 year old almost 11 year old definitely does not believe in him but he does try to keep the spirit alive with his siblings. I think it's all about communicating correctly. I also had a childhood where there was no Santa... so there's that 🤷🏽‍♀️

I learned Santa wasn't really when I was 5. I was talking about how excited I was for Christmas and Santa bringing presents and he just told me Santa's not real. Had a big argument over it in the Walmart parking lot. I got over it pretty quick though.

When I was young my siblings and I all believed in Santa until we were old but our cousins weren’t aloud to believe in him and they would try and tell us that he wasn’t real but our parents did a good job to keep it alive but our cousins still had a amazing Christmas’s even though they couldn’t believe they still had fun! As long as you have the Christmas spirit I don’t think it matters! But you can always still try to keep Santa alive cause who doesn’t love Santa❤️💚

My 10 year old has had doubts, but I think he still believes. My 7 year old told me the other day that he thinks Santa isn’t real, but didn’t say why. When they ask me, I say I don’t know.

@Janell I was not in a great place a couple years ago and we had to do Christmas at my dad's and she woke in the night while I was putting gifts under the tree.

@Brianne no, you're not a bad mom. You tried to keep the magic alive, but something happened outside of your control. You could have a conversation with her about getting her help to keep the magic alive for all the other children that don't know yet. Maybe that will help her transition ❤️
