Oral thrush

Oral thrush is a white coat over the gums and tongue. My little girl got it around the same time. It's a very common infection and usually doesn't bother them too much. You might find that they don't want to sook as much or feed as much. If you breast feed, just be aware that it can transfer to you and give you nipple thrush. I got it from my daughter. It feels like an ache behind your nipple. The thrush can be treated by an oral cream that you can get from a doctor or your health visitor. hope that's helpful x

i was at out if hours last night and my 3 week old has oral thrush but she isn’t having trouble feeding so they said it was fine and would clear up itself in a week or so x
