Almost 4 yr old

Anyone else’s child uncontrollable. He doesn’t listen to anything or anyone. Rewards/praise doesn’t make a difference. He’s an absolute nightmare and no one can handle his behaviour anymore. He tells off his younger brother for doing wrong but thinks it’s fine when he does the same thing. He has no sense of danger and no fear when what he does could result in harm. What can I do? I’ve had enough of his behaviour and don’t know how to knock it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. People may say it’s normal behaviour for his age but in my opinion this isn’t normal. He’s too much

Same here mama!!’ 🥲

This is what I try this if your not already doing this, Have you tried nutritional yeast? You can put it in his Mac and cheese or anything that is salty or savory taste, That helped my daughter when she was acting up. Also changing diet completely, No red dyes or artificial dyes or ingredients Lower sugar, if you don’t already do this shop organic for him. All the toxic “foods” we eat make them more irritable, gives them brain fog, so harder to listen and concentrating and just causes anger and behavior issues especially red dye which is in a lot of stuff without us realizing. I do this and gentle parenting and it works really well but every kid is super different.

@Theresa never heard of nutritional yeast or the red dye but will defo look into it. Thank you for this will definitely take this into consideration and try to switch things up x

So I worked in child care and seen the affect of taking out red dye in a child that wouldn’t listen to anyone, her parents decided to take out red dye from her diet and told us to do the same and it took a couple weeks but then he was 100 percent different super calm and reasonable and happier. My daughter acts up immediately when I give her red dye, like holiday time when she was offered a cookie with it, verses just a cookie with just sugar in it. Then when my daughter was having a hard time with a change of jobs I had my friend suggested nutritional yeast, not the synthetic kind and it was incredible how much it helped! And she said her child had behavioral issues before it as well and it helped her.

I would suggest taking it yourself as well it’s amazing for you, I need to start putting it in my pasta and salad again.

Same. I am tired! Willl certainly look into the suggestions. Thank you for this post

You are not alone mama. My son will be 4 on the 22nd and it seems as if his behavior has gotten worse over the last couple of months. I’ve also heard of the nutritional yeast but I’ve never tried it or done any research on it, but I think I’ll look a bit more into it. Sorry I don’t have any advice for you just wanted you to know you’re not alone 🤗

@Kyla my son is the 22nd too 🥰 Thank you. It’s so draining. My son has been getting progressively worse since I had my 2nd son. It’s just absolutely crazy in here

@Courtney hopefully we can all benefit from it x

@Theresa that’s amazing. Hopefully it helps my son. What’s the synthetic kind? Is engevita okay? X

Yah... my son is the 23rd... and I'm 7.5 months pregnant. Whew. What a phase!

I bought it like a year ago I think it’ll be called non fortified.

Its good to know im not the only one 😂

Change diet and if that don’t work maybe try getting him into early intervention to see if he may have autism or something of that kind I know that was the case of my child

My daughter has the same issues. She developed them without processed foods or red dye , I never fed her those things. She is about to turn 4 and has calmed down a bit . Still, she is the equivalent of having two children. Tell your son “No” one time only. Do not do “warnings “ . Time out has to happen immediately. Also watching super nanny might help you , her tactics work. I never tell my daughter she is bad but I make sure to tell her she is a good girl .
