Baby scratching surfaces
Does anyone else's baby scratch surfaces ? She does it on her mat at nappy change, in her crib at night also if sat on me scratches sofa/cushions. Just wondered if it's a soothing thing or just learning textures? She's 21 weeks today xx

So my LG isn't the only one then that's good to know! She's been doing it for a couple months now, hopefully will stop at some point. @Hannah Fairweather ouchhheee! She used to scratch hands of anyone holding her but seems to have stopped this now thankfully
Omg constant - she does it on the wooden table and slate placemats and goes right through me!!
Mine will scratch the wall when I’m changing her nappy and she scratches at me all day long 😆
So it sounds a fairly common thing then 😬 luckily she's not scratching me .... at the moment!
