I had aldi ones with my first and gone for aldi ones again, we had no problem with them x
I’ve got a pack from most supermarkets to try out. Still waiting on baby so cannot comment - but people have recommended sainsburys little ones - same prive as Aldi but they also have the pouch at the back which I think is similar to the new poonami element which pampers have
I’m trying the Amazon brand (mamma bear)with their wipes using the subscription service if she’s ok with them.
Honestly we found they're all the same. New borns shit and wee so much and with such force it won't be because of the nappy (unless poorly fitted) that a mess is made. I just wouldn't worry too much about it, pick a brand that's closest to you (as in distance to the shop!) And crack on. Learning how best to put them on to prevent leaks of wee will help but trust me, that poop be going EVERYWHERE at the start 😂😂
If it helps, the only negative thing we've found about our settled on brand (size 5 now for our toddler) is they can get smelly when he's weed lots, but that's not a bad thing as helps us identify we should have changed him. When he was younger, 0-6 months maybe, we just needed to change far more frequently to avoid leaks and the poonami we learnt to embrace. (After trying lots of brands)
Thanks everyone! Super helpful as always 😃🥰 🙌 I’d be lost without this community. Sounds like trial and error might be the best approach, and embrace the poonami 😁 xx
Aldi x
@Becca embrace!! I think the only thing I'd change is using warm water and cloths instead of wipes as they are always so cold and in the middle of the night it made him soooo upset!
Aldi. 85 pence for size 1, 24 nappies. Also google this link: https://www.netmums.com/baby/try-aldi-mamia-newborn-nappies-for-free You'll get one voucher for one pack. But you can apply again and again. Your partner can use his name too. It is only for size1 though
