Toddler wellies

What style does she have purely rubber 1s or? I'm also hunting for wellies just now

I put normal socks on and then a pair of fluffy socks for my little girl

@Megan just normal rubber wellies nothing fancy. Ours are from next, they’re lovely but forever falling off. Xx

@Lucy I never thought to do this cos I am so worried about her over heating her feet. Wouldn’t it make it harder for her to get them on and off? Xx

I found my first couldn’t really walk in wellies properly until passed 2. It’s actually quite hard to walk in them as you need to press up on your foot when you walk to keep them on. I got the water proof boots from jojo with a strap around the ankle and those fit great: the size is also really generous so will laag a while.

I got fleece lined wellies from next and they don’t slip off, I guess because they’re less slippery inside

We had to size down 2 sizes in wellies so strange!

@Amelia I thought I would have to do that with her wellies but like with adult wellies I always size up. It’s so confusing xx

You could try a different style I've ordered some 1s that are padded at the top with a toggle to try 🤷🤞

@Chloe my little girl is size 3 I tried on a size 3 in asda and they fell straight off I thought about sizing down but couldn’t find a size 2 anywhere including online I ended up going to next and taking some fluffy socks with me and ended up buying a size 4 which is the size up from her normal size. She finds them a bit tricky to walk in I think they are heavy but they don’t fall off and I think her feet are fine as I would always double up on socks when wearing wellies anyway I thought that’s what most people do? Xx

I can't even buy a pair of wellies for my little girl, she's a size 2 and a half and they don't do wellies in that size🥺🥺

@Kiera I’ve been looking for some of these but nowhere seems to sell them and I’ve checked Vinted too cos I don’t want to pay over the odds xx
