Hi Lauren, I used those for almost 7 months and I did not really see any changes. The scar is as is. It does help conceal the scar when it’s on though.

Same I used that, Motif, and Dermaclara and didn’t really see a huge difference. I didn’t use the Motif Stage 1 & 2 CS dressing system which imho were really helpful with recovery since it kept the incision protected. With scarring you may get better results with massaging but I don’t do it consistently.

Honesyly, I used to think about it immediately after the surgery, now I dnt really care about it, because I hardly get to see it. Its very low and is sometimes hidden behind the bush. 🫣😜

Scar therapist here! Silicone is only really beneficial for scars that are raised beyond the skin - for example if they're visibly bumpy, hypertrophic or keloid. Otherwise scar massage and products are more beneficial 😊 Frida mom ones are a good lower cost option but for my clients I personally prescribe the Scarban c section kit - it's reusable too! Silicone needs to ideally be on for 23hours a day to see visible difference in these scars to begin with. For scar products for the first 2 years (how long your scar takes to fully heal and mature) then NAQI Scar oil and Alhydran moisturiser are the best on the market for scars. Bio oil has no real clinical studies to prove it works and has a lot of nasty chemicals in!
