Kendamil - poo - lactose intolerance

What is baby’s poo colour and texture for those feeding Kendamil powder? We have very watery yellow poo’s and I’m unsure if this means we have a lactose intolerance or not. He is hard to get to burp and is super fussy throughout the day and night. LB is only 4 weeks old, so don’t know if this is also just because he is still little. Anyone else on kendamil powder and also have very watery poo’s? TIA

My boy is exactly the same as this he’s 3 weeks I’ve now changed him to cow & gate and getting on better

Given him infacol tonight to see if that helps. If not, we’ll have to change formula too I think. Thanks @Kelsey

@Monique hopefully the infacol works for your little one. I tried it before every feed for a week and it didn’t help at all he was still so unsettled at night times. Try dentinox if infacol doesn’t work, also gripe water has helped so much even though some people don’t recommend x

Think we’ll probably end up doing the same as you @Kelsey, working our way through all the options until something works 🙈. I’ve not heard of dentinox. I’ll check it out. X

I had similar issues as you with my baby. He’s now on Kendamil Comfort (he had harder poos though hence the change) and I use colief drops in his bottle since he was born it just helped break down the lactose enzymes to help babies digest formula better. Not sure if you tried colief but it’s worth it to see if it makes a difference x

Thanks for the recommendation Becca

We’ve changed to kendamil as had clay like poo with Aptamil and pulling legs up and clearly in pain… settled with kendamil- and now have watery yellow poos…. One extreme to the other!!

She is much better in herself though 🤷🏼‍♀️

My little boy was on the normal kendamil and was going up to 10-15 times a day runny poos which made his bum sore. We’ve since change to the organic kendamil and he’s not pooing as much. Health visitor did mention that kendamil can make them poo a bit more. He was also really unsettled on the normal milk and awful to wind. Much better on the organic and pretty much brings his own wind up now xx
