Showering after swimming

Hi again, what does everyone do to wash baby off after swimming? I’ve just started classes and the showers are very difficult to control the temperature so I was worried today about burning his skin, but also don’t want to leave chlorine on for ages until we get home? Thanks!

I don’t shower baby or myself, we dry dress and come home and we have a bath/shower at home xx

We just have a bath as soon as we get home! Only takes us 10 minutes to get back home though ☺️ she also gets quite fussy when I’m changing her after because she’s chilly, and showering whilst there would prolong it!

My baby always falls asleep as soon as we get in the car and takes a long nap after class, so waiting to bathe him at home is not an option (he gets rashes). The only solution I have found is having him take the class with his dad and I quickly undress him and wash him in the shower (the only shower where we go is the public one next to the pool) while Dad holds him. We will probably stop taking him to Water Babies soon, though, because the shower/ dressing room situation is insanely uncomfortable.

I always just give him a bath as usual in the evening. I did the same with my first and he’s been going swimming for nearly 3 years x

@Lauren I do the same as I did/do with my 4 year old
