We also have the Aer+ and a very long baby but I'm still using the basinet because we rely on the pram for getting her to nap and I think she likes being able to see me as she drifts off. If the chair could be parent facing I'd probably transition but I'm holding off for a couple more weeks.
Hey, can I ask if you're all using the joolz aer+ as your main pram? I'm trying to decide whether to get it as my main pram but really torn as not sure if only foreword facing for 6months will be tricky? / If there's not enough storage? Thanks
@emma we have used it from newborn with the carrycot as main pram and now stroller. It’s amazing! I think with baby looking out in the stroller, they won’t know any different. Also when you recline the stroller you can keep an eye on baby via the mesh gap.
The general guidance is 6 months. Most stroller seats can recline fully back so can actually be used from birth. As long as baby can hold their head up fine he can go into the stroller bit. I put my lb in his stroller but at 3 months but I had it slightly reclined as he wasn’t sitting yet
