@Hannah I declined the space today they don't have an up-to-date Ofsted and what I found online and feedback from other parents on Facebook was not good lots of bullying unresolved and the teachers don't seem to like working there 😢 we have other schools we can consider or alternative options
Fair enough - although a lot of schools don’t have a recent Ofsted as the inspection time frame is 5 years and they are running significantly behind - some schools haven’t been inspected for 8+ years through no fault of their own… Try and visit schools, as you’ll get your own feel for them, everyone has their own opinion on schools and not every school is right for every child. Just try and find out which schools have spaces and go see them, otherwise you’ll be allocated by county and that will be somewhere that isn’t full and possibly quite a distance from your house.
@Hannah another problem was they don't even answer the phones or emails I tried for 6 weeks 😩 just red flags all over glad I trusted my gut and didn't place him there but it shouldn't be this hard to find our kids a safe decent school
Try to appeal! Can I say my son has got into senacre , I'm so over the moon they seem so great already as my son has a medical condition and he is buzzing to be going. I've not heard anything negative about it xx
I don’t have a child there, but even if you decide to appeal my advice is to accept the place whilst you appeal as you don’t want to be without a school which has happened to children previously
