Brown discharge with pessary
Hi ladies just a bit concerned with the amount of brown discharge I'm having with progesterone pessaries. Don't know if this is normal and I'm so worried dont know what to do.

@Amy I agree with Amy. Rectal would be better and when I was given them was told it would be better for many reasons and this being one of them. I’ve never had brown discharge with it that way, no issues, cleaner and better - bit daunting to start with for sure but absolutely fine once done

Hey, if you’re on cyclogest you can use them rectally. I find them far less messy and much easier that way (and believe me, I’ve taken hundreds if not up close to 1000 at this point from years of ivf followed by a successful pregnancy where I had to take them until the end and then again now!). Re the spotting, brown usually isn’t anything to worry about but get in touch with your EPAU if you’re worried!
