Hardness around c section (plus size)
Hi ladies so I’m 14 days pp with a c section. I have a overhang belly pouch but have noticed around my c section feels hard and is tender to touch the skin. Has anyone else had this or should I be concerned x

I’m currently 12 weeks PP and my belly hangs as well. It most likely scar tissue. Once you are 6-8 weeks you can start doing scar tissue massage. It will be too tender to try that now. Let your body heal for a bit first.
How does it look? Keep an eye on it, I had the same and it turned out to be cellulitis. It got so swollen it re-opened my wound
I guess keep an eye on it for infection but after only two weeks you’re still healing from major surgery. Mine was definitely hard for a while but if you’re worried ask your gp/health visitor xxx
I'm 6 months pp and mine is still hard and sometimes there is still pain from the area. surgeon says this is normal.

Yes it’s been normal for me. Currently 1 month pp and feel normal inside and have my first period. However skin around scar is still tender to touch and rubs on knickers. The scar itself is healing perfectly though
