Recommended nursing chairs?

We have a relatively small apartment and I want to buy a nursing chair that can also be an a nice chair for people to sit in. A few people have recommended the IKEA Poang rocking chair. What do you think? Does it need to be rocking? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I'd weigh up whether you really need one tbh! Any comfy chair or just your bed will do. I didn't use a specific chair with either of mine and I know plenty who were the same. Others swear by the really ugly but apparently amazing gliders though.

I had a gliding nursing chair. I hated it and was more comfortable on the sofa with a pillow. If you don’t have the space, it’s really not a necessity.

We got a tutti bambini rocking chair and puff. It’s great and when we don’t need a rocking chair anymore we can take the bottom bits off and it becomes a normal chair 😊

I just bought the tutti bambini Jonah chair, I love it :) but I will say I only bought it because we moved our daughter to her own room so needed somewhere comfy to sit in the night, before that I’d just sit in bed. And in the day we just sit on the sofa. Just think of your space and if you really need it like the others said :)

I have friends who have bought one and it's just become a dumping area for laundry!

I bought a second hand poang chair off Facebook marketplace. Had a little practice rocking my cat😂 and it seems perfect!

Oh amazing, thank you all for your insights!

I wouldn’t get the poang rocking chair… it has sharp jutty out bits at the bottom I was constantly banging my feet/ shins on because I was so tired and it really hurt. I was gifted a gliding rocking chair for my second and it was amazing. Definitely go for something with padded arms as otherwise that can be a bit sore especially if you are holding the baby for awhile. I preferred sitting in the chair as found it easier to get up from (I had c section) and liked the rocking motion to soothe baby
