Fell off of the bed

My baby fell off the bed head first at 4 weeks old, I cried more than she did and rushed her to a&e only to be told she's completely fine! I have a high bed and she didn't even have a bruise, I stressed about it for weeks after and she was absolutely fine! Try not to worry and just look out for any signs of injury / concussion, if you're concerned then get checked out 🩷

Something like this will happen to us all at some point. My first born fell off the bed around 6 months in the blink of an eye, when I turned to close the curtains for a few seconds. As long as they stop crying and no visible injuries or other symptoms, they’ll be fine. You’re not a bad mum, accidents happen.

My baby was punched in the face at 6 weeks old (by a child while I was holding the baby). He was fine I went in to shock it happens to us all but honestly I think it's a good thing as going on down the line you'll find the little injuries less traumatic.

My little girl rolled off the couch at about 4 months ! Was her first time rolling , I felt terrible but she had a cry and got over it pretty quickly and was her usual self . It happens so fast !

My little one nearly fell off this morning. He usually only rolls onto his front and then chills there for a bit but decided he was going to do a few rolls, I just caught him by his foot! I only turned around and got a pair of trousers out of the drawer so had my eyes off him for maybe 30 seconds 🤦‍♀️ I’ve felt terrible about it all day. Thank you for posting because it’s made me realise it happens to a lot of us 🤣 try not to beat yourself up too much x

When my baby was 3 months I rushed around the house because a spider was on my shoulder while we were contact napping, I jumped, woke him up and scared him, he was crying his eyes out and I was rushing and moving so fast while holding him so his left foot got caught under the corner of the kitchen counter which is a bit sharp, he screamed like never before and started bleeding 😭 I felt soo bad and started panicking, we cleaned the wound, put a plaster on it and he fell asleep again instantly on my husband, I was crying about it for days, I still feel awful about it 🥹 but accidents happen! A few weeks before this, my husband was carrying him while walking around a clothing shop and he hit his head with a clothing rack 😖 he rushed to A&E, he was completely fine but my husband felt terrible, when it happened to me my husband reminded me how I was trying to make him feel better and saying accidents happen, I try to remember I need to be as kind and comprehensive with myself too!
