This is my 5th baby and we decided on the Doona so everything is sitting in 1 seat to save space.
We love our Chicco car seat and stroller combo because the infant car seat clicks into the stroller super easily and it’s a pretty affordable option compared to some sets. We used it for our first and will use it again for this baby. Just gotta upgrade to the double stroller now 😅 lol https://www.walmart.com/ip/453364399
All car seats are tested and required to pass the same safety standards. We went with an Evenflow system that was pretty low key. I maybe would have gone for something with a few more bells and whistles but honestly, the system has been the best. I really like have the infant car seat and stroller that click together. And the one thing I wanted was a bassinet attachment for the stroller so I got something with three parts: infant car set, stroller frame, and convertible seat. One thing that may seat you for the stroller is that I would recommend getting one with real tires. Not plastic. It’s my least favorite feature.
Think about where you’re going to be using a stroller… that should help you figure out what kind of features you need. City walks vs. suburban strolls require different wheels, secure compartments, etc. We’re in the suburbs and will mostly be walking around the block, but we have hills and a little grassy trail too, so I chose the baby jogger with large air tires. I’m hoping it will keep me active and walking around our 1.5 mile loop!
I’m using Babylist for my registry and they have a pretty nice a breakdown of all the popular brands with reviews. I just spent some time comparing and ultimately just had to pick one.
I went to a store that had them all with a specialist that helps you decide! I’m in MN but went to both baby on grand and pacifier. They show you how everything works, ease of putting it in the car, putting the car seat in etc. I’m going with the uppababy vista stroller with the aria car seat!
