He loves water play but won’t go in the bath. I have a strange child 😂
My daughter went through a period where she didn’t like the bathroom because of spiders. Would swimming goggles help? Or have an adult in with him?
Yes, so my LG went through phase of hating the bath although she wanted to be a mermaid! I filled the bath and let her sit on the side and then every couple minutes splashed her on let her stomp in the bath to make it fun got water gun. She loved it. Now back to loving baths. I accidentally left bath running really quickly and had bubbles everywhere one time and I said to her she play hide and seek in the bubbles again she loved it. 🥰
Yeah my 2.5yr old is going through this. She did once when she was younger too for no reason. Last time she was in the bath she thought her toys were going to go down the plug hole for some reason ? No idea. I had to show her they can’t fit…. Last 2 weeks she screams no at a bath, then i say okay shower? And she says yes. Once you turn the shower on she screams no as she hates water over her head and gets in the bath then enjoys it 🤦♀️
Have you tried doing water play activities with him? Throughout the day? Try making water a fun activity. Our boy hated baths and water before he started water play at nursery and at home. Now it’s his favourite thing ever! He will happily turn into a prune before he wants to leave the bath 🤣 hope this helps!
