How to get baby to stop crying after the bath

My girl loves her bath times soooo much and has done since she was first in them at about 4 weeks old. We had a baby bath that we would put on her changing table in our bedroom and wash her and then take her out and pop her on the bed to dry and dress her, I'd do a little massage with creams and sing to her then she'd have a bottle and go to sleep. She loved it, she was all smiles and quiet. She's 3 months now and for the last 2 weeks we've had to bath her in the big bath because she just got too big for the baby bath, she loves the bath time even more we swish her around and she's all smiles and happy but once we take her out that's it she will scream until we give her the bottle. It's making me despise bathing her. We've tried everything, earlier bathtime because we thought it was that she was overtired. Warm bath towel and cuddles because we thought she was cold. Longer in the bath because we thought she loved it so much. Offering her the breast before the bath (we combi feed) because we thought it was hunger... literally nothing is working! I can't keep doing this but bathtime is a staple in the night time routine. Honestly any advice is welcome I just miss my happy baby after bath time, hearing her scream whilst trying to dry and dress her is breaking my heart.

My boy hates getting out the bath, I have to wrap him like a burrito and give him his dummy it's the only way to stop him crying

@Ally I've tried wrapping her up and snuggling her with her dummy as well but she spits it out 😫 it's the only time she refuses a dummy to calm down it's madness

Am also going through this with my girl. Even dressing her she will be screaming. Sometimes her father thinks because I am not playing with her that's why she is crying.

My LG is like this after the bath as well. We bathed her this evening and had a towel out of the dryer for her to get straight into (made sure it wasn’t too hot), we made sure she was mostly dry before leaving the bathroom and wrapped her sleep suit around a warm water bottle so it was warm for her to get into. I actually avoid moisturising her (whole body) straight after the bath now as when she cries it wakes her up more and is impossible to get her to sleep for a while after. She didn’t start moaning till she was half dressed already which is better than the screaming that she does instantly when wrapped in the towel. Is there any noises your baby gets distracted by? I make noises to her to distract her from crying and by the time she is dressed she’s better. Music too, a bit of AC/DC stopped her meltdown 😂

My little boy is nearly 10months now and he still does this. Trying to put baby powder, sudocream and a nappy on then the baby grow is truly awful. Like you ive tried everything and its NO better at all. Changing a nappy is a battle during the day when he has to be laid down its a screaming match.... All I can say is have a bunch of 'stuff' i have a bag of revels, empty wipes packet, nappy bag, sponge ect to keep him busy whilst i try get him finished off. I hope it gets better for you mama hang in there 🩵🩵🩵
