Spinal pain
I’m 8 days postpartum and have been occasionally experiencing shooting pain on my back around the same area I had my spinal. It literally feels like I’m having my spinal done all over again, I feel the pressure going all the way down to my bum. There were some complications when doing my spinal, they re attempted it as it wasn’t in the right position the first time round, and was quite painful on my right side. This also meant I also had to have some more local anaesthesia in the new spot.
Im now worried that there is some nerve damage? Has anyone experienced this?

Oh my God, I’m sorry you’re going through this. They literally couldn’t get the spinal tap in my back. They did it at least 10 times to the point where I was saying what’s going on and the doctor was like I’m sorry, but we just keep feeling bone they finally got it in and I was still feeling pain, I stopped feeling pain last month and my baby is now five months
Go get it checked out

I had the shooting pain too, it happened randomly at times (mostly if I was bending down to fast) it eventually stopped happening but it took like 10 months to completely go, I’m 20months pp now. But 8days pp is still quite fresh it is pretty common to feel this x
