i would get one except i see people complain about having to pick the whole thing up to place in the car , hard on the back is a pass for me. ofc with a new born they won’t weigh much but them babies grow fast and for all that money id wanna use it to the max weight. with my first i had a nuna pipa lx (5lbs) and a seat attachment that goes on the uppababy vista stroller so its like a doona cause i don’t have to take baby out of the car seat. best plus with the vista is it has a bassinet which is safer for longer stretches & when they grow up it has the rumble seat for toddler. i got mine second hand for under $230 , even have attachments to make possible to have two kiddos use it. always think long term if you’re wanting to save money (:

I haven’t used one personally but wouldn’t recommend it. I have a friend who had one and said it is super heavy. So getting it in and out of the car can be tricky, especially if you end up having to have a c-section. Plus once they outgrow the car seat, you’ll have to buy a stroller and another car seat anyways. 🤷🏼‍♀️ So very expensive for only a few months worth of use. But I’ve also heard the convenience of it alone is worth it. I used a car seat and stroller travel system when the car seat clipped into the stroller. This time around, I plan on getting a bassinet attachment for the stroller so baby can lay flat instead. Baby shouldn’t spend more than 2 hours a day maximum in the car seat their first year as it can negatively impact their spine development and cause a curvature. I didn’t know this until my baby was almost 1 and notice it when she it sitting she now has a curve to her spine… :/
