Possible CMPA? Eczema and green poo!

My baby has had eczema for a few weeks, I was given steroid cream by the dr and told to use it for 2 weeks, it worked well and pretty much cleared it up but now I’m not using it again the eczema is back and all over, her back looks particularly bad. I’ve also noticed recently she’s had quite mucus-y poos, today they have looked green. Her first one was very mucusy and the second one was explosive and watery with stringy dark geeen bits in it (looked like spinach except she’s a breast fed baby!). I’m wondering if this could all be connected and possible CMPA? She also farts a lot!!

Yes, eczema flare ups are very often connected with allergies. My son had the strongest flare up just before he was diagnosed with cmpa. After changing milk for allergic one his skin get much much better. And mucusy poo sound like it moght be CMPA. Did you notice any more symptoms like reflux, vomiting, agitated babym? Also when using steroids cream you cannot just stop when everything clear up. You need to do it by steps. My GP didn't tell me about it, I found out this information on Facebook page for patterns which babies have cmpa. Also i can let you know what helps us :) bioderma atoderm oil for bathing, aveeno oats for bathing when baby have flare ups. Bioderma balm everyday, when it's bad every diaper change, if skin is good morning and evening. Baths every 3 days, other days just cotton wool with water. Bath water not warmer than 37*. And blue cap cream (on amazon) it's a gold. It's pricey but since using this, we haven't use steroid cream. Last time was 1.5 year ago.

My little one has had eczema for weeks and poos so currently the same. I have finally got prescribed a milk for cmpa and hoping this clears her skin. Does your baby have any other symptoms as mine only has these too. She’s never had problems like throwing up milk or anything so I’m not sure. X

And the poos stink so so bad!!!!!!

Thanks both! I can’t say I’ve noticed other symptoms, she seems ok in herself and while she spits up a bit I don’t think it’s too much. So really it’s just the eczema and poo…The poos do smell though!! Might see if I can get a GP appt and discuss with them

Btw my GP just told me to use stronger steroids, which we tried but not the solution as we’ve been on them for about 5 weeks now & whenever we come off the eczema comes back!
