@Rebecca it’s so hard to get a video as it comes on so so suddenly and last for 5-10 seconds x
I’d describe it to his doctor if you don’t have a video. They’ll probably give you a neurology referral!
@Gabi
If you think it's infantile spasms that's a medical emergency so please take him to A&E
How old is he now? Typically if they are actually having infantile spasms it can cause developmental delays or regressions definitely try and get onto medical care asap. My niece has been having infantile spasms since she was 4 months old. ( now a 5 year old)
@Chelsea he’s nearly a year old but been having these since 6 months
@Rebecca
@Rebecca
@Faith I personally would be getting that checked out asap
@Rebecca does this look like what your daughter does ? I am waiting for a reply from his nurse she should reply Tomo x
My friends little girl does something very very similar to this. In her case it’s not an infantile spasm it’s more of stimming more than anything, she’s been doing it since she could sit up and she’s nearly 3 now. It looks very behaviour related from that video you sent, he seems very alert. I’m not an expert but it looks the same as what she does even from what he is doing with his mouth xx
@Faith my boy didn't have them in the end. What he was doing didn't look like this, but this does look to me like the example on the website, I'll post a link x
@Rebecca I messaged you privately x

Look up infant shudder syndrome.. very similar but very different and benign
Take a video of it and make an appointment with a doctor as soon as possible.
