I often find my baby will cry for 30 seconds once put in it and then sees his toys and will actually play with them independently for like 30-45 mins at a time if I let him. I think you have to get through the first 30 seconds, pop on an interactive toy and walk away a little and see if she likes it?
they get used to it, I go in the pen sometimes but also find she’s better when I leave the room
I'm not sure if you already have tried these things but I tried just building it up in stages. I will sit in the room but let him independently play. I have a play seat and I'll put him in that and go out for longer increments just to give him that feeling of been OK when I'm out the room for 5 minutes then we got a pen I would sit whilst he played again left the room for couple mins and then just built it up. I'm not sure if you do screen time or music but I also found putting his fave (dancing fruits) on he barely watches it but he loves the music on it he can hear it so knows that is play music is on 🤷♀️🤣
We introduced it with the door open so she knew she could get out. Once used to it, we closed the door for short periods while she adjusted. She goes in there herself now to play during the day. We did introduce it, though, before she was on the move xx
Thank you, ladies! She did eventually settle for a bit with her favourite rhymes playing on the TV. I sat with her for a bit as well. I think we'll get there but she'll need a little time ☺️
Maybe she just needs some time to get used to it 😊
