I’ve not had any Poonami situations with them but the smell! As soon as she wees in a brand new fresh nappy I can smell it! They made her bum sore too so we’ve just stopped using them still got two packs full x
Look hate to say it but over the years disposable diaper companies (and wipes) will decrease their size, absorbency and quality so it’s easy for them to keep prices the same but cheaper for manufacturing purposes to maximise their profits. I’ve heard wipes sometimes get rebranded or a “new and better” version when in reality they are smaller and thinner and less wet. We don’t have this issue with cloth so if you’re as sick of the disposable diapers as I am and everything that comes w using them (blowouts. Sizing up. Running out. Recalls/discontinuations/brand changes) maybe look into cloth. Each and every cloth diaper is superb quality and have real elastics which is what keeps in the blowouts. Absorbency is adjustable so when I need more absorbency at nights I add in another 6 layer insert, sizing is also adjustable. You can use the whole stash for another baby and then sell it off when you’re finished w kids, saving thousands in the long run and thousands filling up the bin also.
@Kellie just got my 2mo in cloth again after having his sister in them. No more blow outs!
Oh yes!!!!!! I hated the smell!! We switched to eco by naty and problem solved. No more leaks or bad smells
We have been using the dyper brand. Amazing. No more rashes, they are super absorbent and they're bamboo
That happened with my baby as well, we got it as a gift. So I was happy when we finally finished them. We moved on to huggies, they have an additional flap in the back that has stopped so many blowouts from going up her back
