Loads of car seats can be isofix and belted. Which do you have
@Hollie i don't have one yet but I'm thinking about the one I'll show you in the next photo
@Kiera yes, I understand the same as you but I was told regardless of what the manufacturer says all isofix car seats can be installed with a normal seat belt, that's why I was so confused
@Lidia whoever told you that is a liar and literally doesn’t know shit about car seats unfortunately. They were likely just trying to sell you a car seat x High backed boosters can be installed with or without isofix, but any others no. Unless it’s a baby seat, the ones with handles.
How long is it for? Why don’t you just buy a belted rear face one for your dad’s car?
@Hollie it's occasionally. It's going to be 3 weeks for now and then the times we visit them which will be 2 to 3 times a year for a couple of weeks each time. I've been thinking about this but I can't find many. Most of them look like the one I bought where my LO doesn't seat properly as his chin is touching his chest and he can't breath properly
I'd just look for a seat that is only belt fitted. Then it can be used in both cars with just the seatbelt
Do you need to buy it abroad or in the uk?x
For my son we had a Maxi Cosi Coral infant seat. We also had the base attachment to go with it. When installed with the base it was isofix and without the base it had to be belted in. https://www.maxi-cosi.com/international/car-seats/coral
What car seat? No car seats can be installed with both seatbelt and isofix, unless it’s an infant carrier then it’s one or the other x
