Could be. My fetal fraction was only 6.4%

@Leslie i’m so confused and my ultrasound is on Tuesday it feels like long time for me

@Gia I was reading on Reddit about it and it doesn’t always means twins. A lot of people said they had the same issue with MaterniT21. Sometimes it just happens and it is nothing to worry about.

I got mine and it said 18% percent , what does that even mean 🙂

@Erika They usually say higher fetal fraction could indicate that there’s more than 1 Dna which means you’re carrying a twin but Ultrasound is usually more accurate so I’m waiting to see

@Gia no way 🙂 I’ve had ultrasounds done and they say it’s only one baby , the blood work also said one baby

It depends on a variety of different things so I wouldn't assume twins until it's confirmed at your next ultrasound. I'm pregnant with twins and they saw both of them on my first ultrasound at 6 weeks. I haven't done the NIPT test yet with this pregnancy because my due date is actually July 1st, but I'm having a scheduled c section at 37-38 weeks so they will be June babies.

The percent just means how much fetal dna they took from maternal blood sample. Higher amount means higher likelihood of accuracy.

I’m having one baby and my fetal fraction was 23%. Doesn’t mean anything in terms of singleton or twins!

My ultrasound confirmed it’s just one baby i got extremely confused when i saw twins in my NIPT but they updated my results
