Foul smelling poop

My 8 week old baby is combi-fed and will take 80ml breastmilk with a 50ml kendamil top up for each feed. I’ve noticed his stools becoming very sour smelling and was wondering if anybody else had experienced the same thing with their babies? It’s always very loose and appears quite greasy on his skin too - not sure if that’s worth mentioning? I’ve raised it with the health visitor and GP, neither seem concerned but I can’t help but feel like something isn’t quite right. Any advice will be much appreciated, thanks!

How long has your baby been having kendamil? With kendamil babies tend to have runnier poos but could also be their tummy getting used to the mixture of breast milk and formula x

Also I noticed when my baby went from Breast milk to formula her poos were a lot smellier 😅

He’s had it from birth but we have switched from the ready-made bottles to the powdered formula that we keep in the fridge and use as a top up throughout the day. My health visitor said this was fine as long as the bottle was kept at the back of the fridge. Maybe it’s the switch or the fact we’ve recently upped the ratio due to my supply decreasing. It’s the foul smell that’s concerning me more than the consistency x

If he’s fine in himself and happy and doesn’t get a temperature then try not to worry babies guts change constantly, you know your baby best so if you think something is wrong then push for an appointment with your gp but from my personal experience of combi feeding and then going straight to kendamil it could very likely be because you’ve upped the amount of formula xx
