Baby screeching

Does anyone else’s child just screech at the top of their lungs? 🤣 she’s a happy girl and it’s not really an upset screech, more of an “I can make this noise so I’m going to keep practising it’ and sometimes out of excitement. Though I have noticed she’ll also do it when she’s fed up of being strapped in somewhere (high chair/ buggy etc), she just wants to be out and grooving about. If we’re out in public we get a lot of heads turn 🥲 please tell me there are other Mums out there who’s babies seem to have the lungs of a blue whale 🤣

Yeah my little one does that but not out in public

Yes! My LG screams randomly and then starts to laugh about it 🤣 I try to ignore her sometimes but it doesn't work she just gets louder 🤣

Yes I call it the pterodactyl screech. It’s usually when she is finding something stimulating or exciting. Unfortunately she finds public places and people watching very exciting. I often am there cringing and mouthing sorry at shocked looking people who have turned around to find out where the high pitched screeching is coming from.

@Skye yep I’ve found when I try and tell my girl to sshh and use a quiet voice she just gives me the cheekiest smile in return 🥲

@Christina haha honestly I feel you. We get lots of heads turning and we’ve even had people say they can’t believe something so small has made that much noise 😭 I avoid small coffee shops at all costs 😂

My little boy does this a lot. I read that babies screech, shriek when they’re happy ☺️
