I have done the mommy connections Oakville for baby and me - there was someone from Milton in our group since the Milton one got closed. My experience was opposite of Stephanie’s. The guest speakers were meh. Didn’t learn much but I like the connections I made. I feel like I could confidentially call every mom there and ask for help or plan a gathering together. Even after the group, we’ve continued to meet as a group for coffee or lunch. We take turns hosting play dates at each others houses. And a bunch of us have signed up for mini movers in the spring together. When I started going my son was 9.5 weeks and it was a fine. You meet in a location and have the babies in the floor. Just make sure you talk to the other mommies.
Hello, I loved mommy connections for the presenters and getting knowledge as a first time mom. However I didn’t get the “connections” part of it as I’d hoped. However I did mommy connections In Mississauga. I have tried multiple times to join the Milton chapter for both baby and me, as well as mini movers (next one up) to see if I could make connections there, and every time the session is cancelled due to lack of enrolment. I wish it would be advertised more to get more involvement. The Mississauga North is in streetsville, which may be an option for you.
