Is brown spotting normal at the beginning of what could be a period?
Im 23 and my periods have recently been getting longer in between cycles. Im on day 42 of cycle and i have small brown blood clots. Is this a bad thing?

I had a c-section almost 3 years ago. I dont do birthcontrol because it causes hormone problems for me with the pill. The shot i can't do. I've tried the ring (caused pelvic probplems). Patch im allergic too. And if I go to a provider they blame it on my PCOS but just this year I've started having this spotting before my period with major cervix pain like a babies head pushing on but im not pregnant.
It's considered normal at beginning and at end as long as your period is usual red and there are no concerning symptoms, shouldn't be an issue. If you are on any birth control that can also have a factor. It's also normal if you have any fibroids.

I don't know how recently post partum you are, but irregularity is pretty normal in the first year pp. If you're on any birth control that can interfere too. You can always reach out to your provider if you're concerned since they know your history!
