Is this a unusual movement?

To me it just looks like she’s exciting and doesn’t know how to get rid of it!! My little girl clenches her fist and goes stiff too when she’s happy/excited x

Totally normal. When she puts her knees up and pushes off her feet she might start moving along the floor. My first baby did that before she crawled, she could cross the room doing that 😂

@Beth Thank you! i remember my first doing the tensing a bit but don’t remember it being so Apparent. I think you’re right about the excitement as I’ve looked back usually when she’s watching her sister or something caught her eye.

@Tanya thank you I sometimes over analyse when they are small 🤦🏻‍♀️ The shuffle she gets so far I worry about her getting carpet burn 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Looks normal to me! She’s trying to lift her bum up / bridge as her legs are getting stronger - my baby does this all the time! Noticed he does it both when excited and frustrated. He’s always had strong legs and loves to stand on my lap but has no interest in rolling!
