Gynae problems postnatal

I feel like I’ve heard so many people on here talking about gynae problems and problems with periods postnatal. I’m currently waiting for a pelvic scan as I have bleeding inbetween periods & period/dull cramps all the time. Is this normal after having a baby I’m 7 months pp? I’ve had normal smear results come back and a scan in November showing a small cyst on ovary. I hate the things having a baby can do to your body 😢

Hey just wondering what happened from here? I am in the exact same position! Waiting for a scan too x

@Riannon hey I had an ultrasound which showed nothing but possibility of polycystic ovaries but my bloods to confirm that come back normal. I also had a cervical ectropion which they said Cld of caused the bleeding. I still get dull pelvic pain sometimes but I’m thinking it might be related to my IBS x

Glad they didn’t find anything but also annoying sometimes! Interesting about the IBS because I’ve been thinking for a while now that I have it too x

@Riannon yup exactly! Yeah when my IBS flares up which is a lot at the moment I notice pelvic aches/cramps and vaginal pain inside on the left..really odd. I’ve just been trying to reduce stress/do stretches/kegals. Being a woman really sucks so much has changed since having my baby 8 months ago things are still not normal x

Sounds like its definitely connected then! Can I ask what your main IBS symptoms are? Honestly having a baby is lovely but what it does to your body is not! X

@Riannon constipation/diarrhoea/stomach pain/frequently going/mucus etc it wasn’t that bad pre pregnancy but now my IBS is 100% worse since having my baby x

Sounds exactly what I experience! I never had it before having my babies but seems to be effecting me quite a lot now x

@Riannon must be hormones, stress & lack of proper sleep😂🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s such a hard job hope u feel better soon & scan goes ok, I’m sure it will be🤗x
