For my son, he would have crying/ screaming fits when he still needed to be burped. He might have had needed to be burped a few of times and not just once. There were also some stretching techniques I saw that could help babies with their bellies to help their digestive system. For example, moving their knees as close to their stomach, back down, and then do the same thing but switch right-left- then back to the center. Baby massages and stretches help out a lot. Best after baths, lotion, & baby powder. I didn’t do baby oil because my baby had a skin reaction which I later found out he has sensitive skin. I hope this helps. Patience is everything & you’re doing a great job mama! Congratulations! 🫶🏼🩵💐
Yes we did too unfortunately with my son who is almost 9 weeks. It turned out that he has reflux and a milk protein allergy so I have since cut out dairy and caffeine and it seems to be helping. He would arch his back and just scream and cry for sooo long out of nowhere and it was awful. Talk to her pediatrician about what you’re experiencing! We would have never known that is what was going on if we didn’t tell his doctor. I’m sorry you’re going through this, it is so difficult. I hope you guys figure it out soon and baby girl feels better
Is she getting burped long enough? You could try nursing, burp halfway, and let her latch again. There's probiotic drops, I'd check with a doctor for recs. Try a chiropractor? Or check in with your doctor. My baby would throw up after sipping formula. Hang in there, mamma, it's so hard to see them in pain 😢
I had this problem too. 10 pm was the witching hour for us. It's definitely gas. Babies don't know how to fart. Just remember this will pass!
Colic is gas, and can happen at any time. Start doing LOVE massages on her belly, bicycle kicks. You can give her mylicon drops which are anti-gas drops for infants. If all else fails, throw her in a warm bath, get all ready for bed. Walk around outside for a few minutes. If she still hasn’t calmed, take her for a short car ride. These tricks have worked for all of our family’s upset babies for 4 generations.
