Baby starting to holding his breath.
Hi everyone, my baby is 14 months now. And he’s at the stage of nearly walking! But he’s not quite there yet so he falls & looses his balance quite easily.
But when he does fall and he hurts himself he has started to hold his breath. It really scares me. is this quite common in babies? x

How long are they holding their breath for? A few seconds is pretty normal when they’ve hurt themselves. My friends baby did this for longer and they were given advice to blow in their face to snap them out of it.
