Blood from CS incision wound
Hi all! I am 3 weeks PP and today I saw a small blood mark on my pants along the c section incision. Though the wound looks fine when I pat it with a bit of pressure, I get fresh blood drops on the tissue / wipe. Anyone had this? Is it normal or does this mean the wound is opening up even if the blood quantity is small?
I had exactly this and I called 111 , they advised I see a doctor which I did immediately. The doctor said there was a small opening which was why the blood stains was there and that it was slightly infected. He cleaned it up and prescribed Hibiwash which I used to clean the area daily . I am 5weeks post partum and my incision area is completely healed . From my experience, it is always best to see a doctor
